learning together

Today was our first day to study and learn together with planned lessons after the summer break. So last evening, we celebrated with chocolate cupcakes this learning adventure. Our son is seven and that corresponds to grade two in most schools around here so he tells people he's in second grade. :)
And after today's lessons finished in the mid-afternoon with breaks, snacks, lunches, baby care and acorn-gathering thrown in, we both enjoyed this sweet treat. I think it could be a lovely habit to continue. :)

  2. Julie!!!,
Make sure you post some pics when you guys get started. How fun to open all those boxes! Thinking of you and that little growing baby!
I too wish somehow we could all be together!
    Love you back!

  3. I won't mention Seth's cupcakes or Caelah will fell ripped-off. Not only did I not bake her anything, I put a ban on sweets this week after she and Elijah gorged at camp!

It really was just a special treat to help make the "back-to-school" seem exciting! :)
