the promise of comfort

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

Please join me in praying for my friend, Norma and her extended family as they grieve the home-going of their baby daughter, Erica Faith. Norma and her husband Victor have two sons, Marco and Sebastian who are wonderful friends to my son Seth and who will dearly miss their little sister.

  2. Oh the grief of losing a child! With tears I will be praying. It is times like this I know the only hope I cling to is that all will be made new - until that day we walk holding the hand of the ONE who will wipe away all tears!

  4. Looking back at what happened... I find meny small graces from the time the gracious Lord gave me an extra day with her inside me, to the moment I saw her and held her in my arms and the memmories that now I have of her. And one of those graces, were the prayers of dear sisters like you that faithfully bagged the Lord in my behalf. and people that I did not even know! Love you greatly sweet friend!.. and thank you!
