Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins(adapted from the Company's Coming Banana Muffin recipe)
1 3/4 cups flour(I use whole wheat only)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 cup sugar (I use slightly less than a full cup of raw cane sugar)
2 eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
3 mashed bananas(I often used frozen bananas, thawed til soft)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center of the bowl. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and mix in the sugar and 1 egg. Beat in the second egg. Mix in the sour cream and bananas. Pour mixture into the well. Mix well, but leave lumps. Add chocolate chips. Spoon into muffin cups(I do not use paper baking cups)about 3/4 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 400 F until golden brown.
P.S. This recipe does not call for cherry tomatoes of any size or color despite Laura stirring them with her mixing spoon. :)

I know this is an old post, but I needed the recipe and you're off galavanting in the US so I checked your site - looking at the pictures, I just thought how little the girls looked. And I love that another mommy puts her little ones on the stove while mixing.... my kitchen doesn't have many resting spots for little bums, so the flat top stove is often the best spot.
