Photo Flashback

This is me, about six months pregnant with our son who was born in the summer of 2003. Our church family at the time was in Fredericton, NB and a close friend hosted a baby shower for me. This bunny became a favorite with my husband who impersonates our stuffed animals and gives them a distinct personality. This bunny was always asking me if I'd like to touch his soft furry back hidden under the sweater. And the bunny doesn't shut up until you say yes and pet his back. LOL.

So I enjoyed this on Saturday...

and Baby K was awake and fussing all day Monday. Sigh. And I have only myself to blame. Note to self, ask for a Decaf Caramel Frappuchino next time.

another good use for a blog?

A place to stash all the hilarious things your kids say that you're sure you won't forget...but you do anyway.
Here's the latest from my 4.5 year old son.
Him: Mommy, do we have to clip my fingernails this morning?
Me: No, we did that yesterday.
Him: What about my fingernail feet?
Me: You mean your toenails? No, we did those too.

Photo Flashback

Seeing the amount of photos my husband and I have amassed in nearly six years of marriage has prompted me to add a weekly installment to my blog, Photo Flashback.
I'll dig through our bulging photo folders and find a blast-from-the-past photo to showcase with the briefest of explanations . Enjoy our youthfulness!

This first photo is from the spring of 2002, a week after we were married. Shane and I toured Longwood Gardens, a beautiful horticultural estate south of Philadelphia.
