the slide into summer

 Spring was a glorious event, it exceeded all expectations and rumorings. It really couldn't have gone better. Of course we can take no real credit, we just showed up and noticed.
And now the summer moments are creeping in; water guns and maturing lettuce leaves are two of my sign markers. And the peas need to be tied up as soon as the rain lets up.
So lettuce and peas will usher us into summer fresh eating. Travel plans are in the works with birthday celebrations for my two summer babies tucked in and around our vacations. It's all good, as they say.
